According to the public relations of
weightlifting federation; A few minutes ago during the first world youth
weightlifting championship, in group A of 94+kg category contest among 10
athletes took place in which Bahador Molaiey and Asgharikhah with totals of 345
kgs and 327 kg, because first and second respectively.

In accordance with these report , Molaiey
lifted 155 and 190 kgs and with a total of 345 kg he won 3 gold medals in
snatch, clean &jerk and total and took the first place of the first world
youth championship.

Asgharikhah another lifter of Iran ,
in the same weight category lifted 146 kg in snatch and 181 kgs in clean
&jerk  and with a total of 327 kg he
took 3 silver medals.

In the end of this championship the
national team of Iran, with a total point of 543 became the world champion and
Russia and China with 534 and 504 took 2^nd and 3^rd places
respectively.

Iran , therefore has gained the
complete Olympic quota for weightlifting competition of 2010 youth Olympic
games.
