Lead :The Asian interclub weightlifting cup contest has come to its end.
News Subject :According to the public relations of weightlifting federation Asian interclub championships (senior and junior age categories) started on the 1st of Nov. 2008 with 24 clubs from 13 countries in Goyang south Korea in which oil rich of south and national drilling teams attended representing Iran. In the end oil rich of south managed to become the champion in junior and senior age categories.

In accordance with this report, as the AWF declared in junior age category oil rich of south national drilling team and Korea reached 1st second and third place respectively.

In senior age categories, oil rich of south team is first and Korea, china and national drilling team reached second, third and sixth respectively.

During the championships Saied Ali Hosseini +105 athlete of oil rich of south team while winning the championships and 3 gold medals.He managed to improve the world and Asian junior records of snatch and clean and jerk.

Ali Hosseini, by lifting 205 Kg in snatch. He improved Asian junior record by 18 Kg which used to belong to Hossein Rezazadeh with 187 Kg, and the world junior records by 8 Kg belonging to pisarov from Russia with 197.

In clean and jerk he also managed to lift 241 Kg and improved the Asian and world junior records by 13 and one kilo grams respectively. Asian clean and jerk record used to belong to Rezazadeh with 228 and Artem odachim from Ukrain was holding the world junior record with 240 Kg.

In total said Ali Hosseini a young athlete from Ardebil with a bright future, established a record of 446 Kg and improved Rezazadeh`s Asian junior record by 31 Kg and Artem Odachim`s world junior record by 16 Kg.

It is also necessary to mention that this super heavy weight athlete competed in senior age category in which he also managed to lift 200 and 242 Kg in snatch and clean and jerk respectively with a total of 442 Kg and become the champion.
